This documentary and educational film was made following the fasting of a team of companions of the Ark, Quakers and Franciscans in New York before the UN headquarters in 2003 in order to protest against the war in Irak.

It was also organised in the framework of the United Nations Decade for a Culture of Nonviolence and Peace for the benefit of the Children of the World.

It is an invitation to fast, to pray, to reflect on why do we make war. Is it a fatality for our civilizations to be erected on  acrime justified with virtue, morality and aesthetics?
